A practice built at the meeting point of art, social work, and clinical care.
I came to social work from a background in fine arts. That training shapes how I practise: I pay close attention to what clients express beyond words, including through the body, imagery, and lived experience.
Over the past decade, my work has centred on accompanying people healing from sexual and gender-based violence, and from other experiences that leave deep marks. I also work with adults moving through depression, anxiety, PTSD, and grief, and the questions of self and identity that often surface along the way.
My practice is inclusive and non-judgmental. I welcome clients from all walks of life and meet each person where they are.
Alongside individual counselling, I consult with institutions — universities, workplaces, and organizations — on violence prevention, consent education, policy, and the culture change work that must accompany them.
I bring evidence-based approaches: ACT and Trauma-Focused ACT are my primary frames. I integrate CBT, DBT, and mindfulness, and I'm developing my competency in body-based therapy and Internal Family Systems. My fine arts background informs a creative, integrative sensibility throughout.
